Danner 8。A high-quality boot, made in the USA. In the 1990’s I purchased these boots from Cabela’s, to wear while exploring a fly-in only location in the Alaska bush. These are the heavy-duty, but lighter-weight, \"Lassen GTX\" version of the Acadia boot. These boots are Men\'s US size 7.5 D. * May not be suitable for a very wide foot: these GTX\'s are a lean regular (men\'s D) in toe bed. These fit my feet well; and I wore them constantly throughout my adventure in Alaska ...so, they are broken-in (you’re welcome). * THE SOLE : I purposely chose the GTX Vibram sole that is not chunky “lug” style. I knew Alaska bush can be very muddy. I hate lug-soles that hold mud in chunky treads, get heavy + allow small rocks wedged in. I wanted an “anti-mud” type sole... an optional sole that Cabela’s offered with these GTX boots. * These boots have some wear to treads and some surface scuffs. ON THE RIGHT TOE TIP, MORE THAN A SCUFF... A SHALLOW SCAR (badge of adventure). Besides that, these vintage Danner’s are in good condition; and do still have tons of life left in them. *** Insoles are missing... you would need you pick out your own cush orthotic/insole.
